Warner Mountains
These mountains are located in the extreme northeastern corner of the state. They are volcanic and feature juniper savanna and sagebrush step at lower elevations and ponderosa pine, Jeffrey pine, and pine-fir forests at higher elevations
Typical insect and disease problems
• Native bark beetles including Ips, Scolytus, and Dendroctonus species.
